Biography
A radiologist at Annie Penn Hospital for twenty years, Mark Boles, MD, is board certified by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine and the American Board of Radiology. He completed medical school at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine and residencies in nuclear medicine and diagnostic radiology at Loyola University Medical Center in Illinois.
Dr. Boles currently serves as medical director; previously, he was the hospital’s chief of staff and radiation safety officer. He specializes in general radiology, including radiography, computerized tomography (CT) and ultrasound, as well as in emergency radiology and nuclear medicine. He is passionate about meeting and working with patients.
Originally from Ohio, Dr. Boles and his wife, a former radiologist, moved to the Triad in 1997 to join Greensboro Radiology. Outside the office, he is an avid Civil War history buff. In addition, he enjoys spending time outdoors and playing bass guitar.
