Biography
Charles Fields, MD, is a board-certified surgeon who specializes in vascular surgery. His professional interests include: carotid disease, peripheral arterial disease (PAD), hemodialysis access, aortic aneurysm and dissection, deep vein thrombosis, varicose veins, mesenteric and renal artery occlusive disease, and endovascular/minimally invasive vascular procedures.
Open, honest and compassionate, he is dedicated to helping his patients prolong and improve their quality of life. He focuses on vascular pathology, including medical treatment, lifestyle modification and minimally-invasive endovascular and traditional surgical treatments, when indicated.
In his spare time, he is an avid and competitive cyclist. At home, he enjoys spending time with his family and Chesapeake Bay Retriever as well as cooking.
